Silver Surf Motel boasts a prime beachfront location, offering direct access to a beautiful, sprawling beach, making it ideal for sunset watchers and ocean enthusiasts. Its proximity to local attractions such as Cape Perpetua and the charming town of Yachats enhances its appeal, providing an excellent base for exploration and relaxation. Guests appreciate the tranquility and natural beauty the location offers, complemented by additional amenities like a pool, hot tub, and in-room kitchens.
The motel receives positive feedback for its cozy and welcoming breakfast service, offering a varied selection that includes boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, and cereal. Despite some suggestions for more variety and earlier hours, the breakfast contributes positively to the guest experience.
Rooms are praised for their spaciousness, charm, and cleanliness, with many featuring ocean views and private balconies. Thoughtful updates and amenities like mini kitchens and faux fireplaces enhance comfort, though the motel's older facade does present minor inconveniences such as noise and outdated paneling.
The staff is recognized for their warmth and dedication, consistently providing exceptional service. Many guests note the friendly and accommodating nature of the team, creating a welcoming environment throughout their stay.
While WiFi service is a frequent point of concern due to unreliable connectivity, guests are often willing to overlook this aspect in favor of enjoying offline activities and the serene ocean views. The pool and hot tub add a relaxing touch, despite occasional maintenance issues, with guests finding them enjoyable when fully operational.
The motel accommodates pets, offering dog-friendly units with thoughtful amenities, enhancing the experience for pet owners. The overall charm of Silver Surf Motel, combined with its fantastic location and amiable staff, offers guests a delightful beachside retreat with a nostalgic touch.
