Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Acuario, located in a tranquil area slightly distanced from Puerto de la Cruz’s center, offers a peaceful retreat with captivating views. Although slightly challenging in accessibility without personal transportation, the serene surroundings provide a good balance of seclusion and nearby amenities. The hotel's breakfast receives high praise with guests enjoying the fresh, varied offerings and the friendly service, although a few areas for improvement were noted. On the other hand, the dinner experience fell short for many guests, who found the options limited and the quality inconsistent.
The rooms present a mixed bag—while some are spacious, clean and offer stunning views, others are cramped and in need of modernization. Cleanliness throughout the establishment is inconsistent with some guests experiencing well-maintained spaces and others noting significant hygiene issues. The staff at Hotel Acuario shine brightly in reviews, being described as helpful, attentive and dedicated, significantly enhancing the guest experience.
WiFi connectivity is a problem, often cited as unreliable and weak, especially within rooms. The pool area, although generally appreciated for its pleasant atmosphere and the presence of a lifeguard, could benefit from better maintenance and extended hours. Families find the hotel accommodating and pleasant, though some noise and cleanliness issues have been raised. Beds experience mixed feedback with some guests praising comfort while others express dissatisfaction with outdated mattresses and bed configurations.
Overall, Hotel Acuario stands out for its friendly staff, value-for-money offerings and relaxing environment, but improvements in dining services, room amenities and cleanliness could elevate the experience further.
