Summarized by AI
Hotel La Perla is well-regarded for its prime location in a quiet and charming village, providing a serene setting perfect for relaxation and immersion in nature. Its proximity to the ski lift to Zoncolan, nearby slopes and the ski rental shop makes it an ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts. The hotel’s strategic position offers easy access to various destinations, which is beneficial for motorcyclists and guests appreciate the good parking facilities. Nestled in the mountains, it provides stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, contributing to an overall enjoyable stay.
The breakfast offerings at Hotel La Perla receive consistent praise for their extensive and varied buffet with high-quality and delicious options that leave guests satisfied. Though some note the breakfast space can be overcrowded and express a desire for more vegetable options, the general consensus is that the breakfast experience is substantial and luxurious.
Dinner at the hotel is similarly well-received with many guests highlighting the excellent cuisine and the variety of the 4-course menu. Friulian specialties and desserts are particularly noted for their quality. However, some guests feel the portions are not generous enough for the price and there is a lack of a children's menu.
The rooms offer a mix of experiences but are generally noted for being beautiful, clean and comfortable with some featuring large balconies and stunning views. While some bathrooms and rooms could benefit from modernization and the absence of air conditioning is a drawback, the overall perception remains positive due to the cleanliness and amenities like the well-maintained pool.
Cleanliness is a strong point for Hotel La Perla with guests consistently describing the hotel and its wellness center as clean and well-maintained. The competence and kindness of the staff, who are friendly, accommodating and professional, further enhance the welcoming atmosphere.
The spa and pool facilities are highlighted as major attractions with guests enjoying the heated pool, hot tub, sauna and Turkish bath. Despite occasional cleanliness issues and crowding during peak times, the wellness area is praised for its quality and relaxing environment.
While the hotel provides convenient and free parking, mixed reviews about the Wi-Fi indicate areas for improvement. Similarly, the beds receive varied feedback with some guests finding them comfortable and others noting issues with hardness and low pillows.
Despite some areas needing improvement to fully meet the expectations of a four-star hotel, such as updated facilities and enhanced staff preparedness, the overall sentiment toward Hotel La Perla is positive with its exceptional location, cleanliness, friendly staff and top-notch breakfast and dining experiences contributing to a memorable stay.
