Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites enjoys a strategic and convenient location, ideal for families planning a visit to Silverwood Theme Park. It is also close to a variety of dining and shopping options, as well as other local attractions. The attached amusement park and arcade with after-6 pm discounts, add extra fun for the whole family. Additionally, the hotel’s accessibility from the highway is generally well-regarded, despite a few comments about it being somewhat far off.
The breakfast experience at the resort is generally well-received with many guests finding the variety of options delightful and appreciating the fresh, hearty meals that kick-start their day. Although there are minor criticisms about the consistency and variety of certain items, the overall breakfast offering is reliable and satisfactory, complemented by friendly server staff.
The hotel's family suites are spacious and provide ample room, which families find particularly appealing. While some guests have praised the rooms for being clean and roomy, the condition and upkeep leave much to be desired. Common issues include worn-out furniture, musty smells and insufficient soundproofing, indicating a need for renovation. Cleanliness feedback is mixed with some guests encountering issues such as dirty carpets, stains and remnants of previous occupants. However, many others commend the overall cleanliness and the staff’s diligent efforts.
Staff at Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites are frequently praised for their friendliness, helpfulness and courteous service, particularly the front desk personnel. Their professionalism and welcoming demeanor contribute significantly to a pleasant guest experience, despite occasional mentions of the staff appearing overworked.
The connection to the Triple Play water park is a major highlight, though the lack of an independent hotel pool or hot tub was noted as a drawback by some guests. The water park itself is well-received, adding significant value to the guest experience despite minor operational inconveniences such as limited elevator access and late opening times.
For families, the resort is an excellent choice with its array of activities keeping children entertained. The proximity to both the amusement park and Silverwood ensures a fun-filled stay. Despite some typical noise issues in family-friendly accommodations, the resort’s orientation toward providing a family-friendly environment stands out, leaving many eager to return.
The comfort of the beds at Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites presents a mixed bag. While some guests find the beds and pillows adequately comfortable, a notable portion of reviews report extreme discomfort due to outdated, worn-out mattresses. Issues such as sinking mattresses and noisy sofa beds are common complaints, pointing to a need for room upgrades to enhance guest comfort.
In summary, Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites offers a family-friendly, conveniently located accommodation with appealing amenities and activities, supported by a strong, service-oriented staff. However, attention to room maintenance and upgrades could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
