The Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Brussels Vilvoorde receives high commendation for its strategic and convenient location. Guests find the tranquil environment, despite its accessibility, to be an added advantage, perfect for easy travel to downtown Brussels and other attractions. The hotel offers free parking and effective public transport links, making it an excellent base for exploring the area or attending notable events. The welcoming and efficient staff significantly enhance the overall experience.
Breakfast at the hotel is generally well-received with varied and hearty options. Guests compliment the extensive breakfast buffet, but some note that diversity could be improved and it can get busy. Though there are occasional comments about the price, many find the breakfast offerings to provide good value with friendly and professional service.
Dinner experiences garner mixed feedback. Guests praise the food quality and pleasant service but mention limited menu choices and high prices. The restaurant’s inconsistent hours of operation, particularly on weekends, cause some inconvenience. Nonetheless, staff efforts to accommodate dietary preferences are appreciated.
Rooms at the hotel present a mixed picture. While some guests find their rooms clean and comfortable, many highlight the urgent need for renovations and better maintenance. Cleanliness issues, such as dirty carpets, mold and dated furnishings, are frequently mentioned. Despite this, basic facilities are considered adequate by some for the price and cleanliness is maintained in areas such as the beds.
Cleanliness overall seems to be a significant issue with guests pointing out dirty carpets, moldy bathrooms and general poor hygiene in certain areas. Despite persistent maintenance concerns, the friendly staff and favorable location help mitigate these shortcomings.
The staff consistently receive high praise for their warmth and professionalism, enhancing the guest experience with their attentiveness and accommodating nature. Individuals like Denise and Belinda are noted for their exceptional service.
