The Ramada by Wyndham Kent Seattle Area, situated with convenient access to major freeways and the airport, generally attracts praise for its practical location. This central setting makes it easy for guests to reach nearby amenities, job sites and transit points. Despite some concerns about the safety and upkeep of the immediate surroundings, many find the location ideal for their needs.
The hotel's breakfast offerings, however, have been a significant point of dissatisfaction. Guests were typically disappointed with the minimal grab-and-go breakfast, finding it misleading compared to what was advertised. The meager selection—often just a granola bar, juice and a small fruit cup—fell short of expectations for a substantial morning meal.
Guest feedback on the rooms reflects a mixed experience. Positives include the cozy, spacious and wheelchair-accessible rooms with many appreciating the comfortable beds and clean accommodations. However, there were also notable complaints about issues such as dirty rooms, visible wear and tear, outdated furniture and unpleasant odors. Noise from neighboring rooms and specific cleanliness concerns also detracted from the stay for some guests.
Cleanliness across the property emerged as a recurrent issue with reports of dirty carpets, unpleasant odors and poorly maintained amenities like the pool and hot tub. The presence of homeless individuals within the hotel added to the guests' concerns regarding safety and hygiene with many feeling that maintenance and housekeeping were insufficient.
In contrast to the mixed feedback on other aspects, the hotel staff received consistent praise for their friendliness, kindness and accommodating service. Despite occasional delays in assistance, the overall impression of the staff was positive with particular commendation for their helpfulness and professionalism.
The beds received generally positive remarks for comfort, firmness and the quality of pillows and linens, contributing to a good night's sleep for many guests. However, cleanliness issues and occasional reports of small or overly firm beds did detract from some guests' experiences.
In sum, while the Ramada by Wyndham Kent Seattle Area has strengths in location and staff service, significant improvements are needed in breakfast offerings, cleanliness, room maintenance and overall hotel facilities to fully meet guest expectations.
