Silken Puerta de Irati enjoys widespread acclaim for its superb location, exceptional cleanliness and warmly hospitable staff, making it a prime choice for travelers exploring Navarre. Nestled in the enchanting town of Ochagavía, the hotel offers easy access to the picturesque Irati Forest and Pyrenees, appealing to adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Visitors appreciate the peaceful surroundings, hassle-free parking and the modern, spacious rooms that provide both comfort and contemporary aesthetics, ideal for a serene retreat.
The hotel's breakfast consistently earns high marks with guests praising the generous portions and diverse selection of fresh foods. The breakfast buffet includes a variety of dishes from fried eggs to churros, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Although some minor improvements were suggested, such as better coffee quality and more savory options, the overall experience remains highly positive, complemented by the attentive and friendly staff.
Dining at Silken Puerta de Irati also receives favorable feedback, particularly for the bar's spectacular burgers and tapas. While some diners noted occasional issues with pre-cooked items and limited vegetarian options, many guests found the restaurant’s offerings delicious and good value for money. The friendly service and welcoming environment are repeatedly highlighted as enhancing the dining experience, despite some room for improvement in terms of menu availability and quicker service.
The guest rooms themselves are a major highlight, praised for their cleanliness, modern decor and comfortable beds. The spacious, bright accommodations often come with mountain views and balconies, contributing to a restful and pleasant stay. With high-quality bedding and thoughtful amenities like bamboo toothbrushes, the hotel prioritizes both comfort and sustainability. Although a few guests mentioned small bathrooms, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction with the tranquil and well-maintained environment.
The hotel's exceptional staff further elevates the experience with many guests noting the kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of the team. Personalized attention and professional service from both the reception and restaurant staff, particularly individuals like Rubén and Edurne, leave a lasting positive impression, making guests feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
The outdoor infinity pool, although still in need of some completion, offers stunning views and serves as a refreshing spot for relaxation after a day of exploration. While minor issues with the pool’s functionality and patio are noted, the modern design and cleanliness provide a pleasing addition to the hotel’s amenities.
In summary, Silken Puerta de Irati delivers a delightful blend of natural beauty, modern comfort and exceptional service. With its ideal location, exemplary cleanliness and comfortable accommodations, it stands out as a top choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure in Navarre.
