Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hershey Motel enjoys widespread praise for its advantageous location, situated just a short walk from both the beach and the boardwalk. The convenience of being within walking distance of restaurants, pubs and various activities makes it an ideal choice for families and travelers looking to park their car and explore without hassle.
The staff at Hershey Motel are frequently commended for their friendliness, politeness and willingness to assist, contributing to a warm, family-owned atmosphere. The front desk, bar and cleaning personnel are particularly noted for their attentive and helpful nature, making guests feel welcomed and valued.
Guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms that are described as well-maintained and practical, equipped with amenities like refrigerators and microwaves. Despite an overall clean and comfortable environment, some aspects such as outdated decor and old mattresses were mentioned as areas that could benefit from updates.
The motel’s breakfast receives mixed reviews with guests praising the taste and service but noting a need for more variety and better communication about the meal offerings. The swimming pool area is a standout feature, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness and family-friendly atmosphere, including a poolside bar and a kiddie pool.
Ample free parking, including a free pass to park at the boardwalk, adds to the convenience, though some mentioned that parking can be insufficient for the number of rooms. While the motel provides free wifi, there are frequent complaints about weak signals and inconsistent connectivity.
Overall, Hershey Motel offers a clean, convenient and family-friendly environment with commendable staff and notable amenities, making it a popular choice for seaside getaways, despite room for improvements in decor and bedding comfort.
