Situated next to the Liverpool Catholic Club, the hotel offers easy access to various dining and entertainment options, central venues such as the Whitlam Leisure Centre and Liverpool Hospital and is conveniently close to the freeway. Many guests commend the hotel's peaceful environment despite being in an industrial area, highlighting its overall cleanliness, friendly staff and excellent facilities. However, it is noted that the location might be less convenient without a car or public transport.
The breakfast at Mercure Sydney Liverpool enjoys favorable reviews for its wide variety, fresh and tasty options and value for money. Guests find the buffet particularly impressive, despite a few suggestions for more vegetarian options and extended hours. Dinner options also receive positive reviews with commendations for the quality of room service and the adjacent Catholic Club’s reasonable prices and good food, though some guests mention a limited menu and scarce vegan options.
Rooms are frequently highlighted for their comfort, cleanliness and spaciousness. Guests appreciate modern decor, effective climate control and comfortable beds. While some note the absence of a microwave and the occasional inconsistent room service, the general sentiment affirms the rooms' suitability for a comfortable stay.
Cleanliness is consistently noted as a strong point with rooms, common areas and bathrooms maintained in immaculate condition. The hotel staff receive high marks for their professionalism and friendliness, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Free wifi, while generally appreciated for its speed and reliability, did receive some comments about occasional disconnections.
