Wyndham Garden Aguascalientes Hotel & Casino is a well-regarded accommodation due to its strategic location and diverse amenities. Situated in a prime area in northern Aguascalientes, the hotel offers convenient access to the San Marcos fair, shopping plazas and a vibrant commercial district filled with quality restaurants and amenities. This makes it an excellent choice for event-goers and travelers looking for both entertainment and convenience. The safety and overall accessibility of the area further enhance its appeal.
Guests have frequently praised the hotel's breakfast, describing it as tasty, affordable and complemented by good restaurant service. Though some felt the buffet lacked variety, the general consensus is that the breakfast offerings are enjoyable and well-prepared.
The rooms receive mixed feedback. Many guests find them spacious, comfortable and particularly commend the new suites for their modern amenities. However, there are concerns about noise due to poor soundproofing and outdated decor in some rooms. Cleanliness issues, such as dirty carpets and clogged showers, detract from the overall experience. Yet, the attentive staff generally wins appreciation, providing a positive counterbalance to these issues.
The staff garners both praise and criticism. While many guests highlight the friendly, helpful and attentive nature of the staff, especially in quickly addressing complaints, there are notable concerns about the reception staff’s indifferent and sometimes rude attitude, leading to less satisfactory experiences for some visitors.
The pool area provides a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests appreciate its nice appearance and clean relaxation areas but have reported issues with its cleanliness and the cold temperature of the water. Noise from children often disrupts the serene atmosphere.
Parking facilities are generally well-received, being spacious, clean and safe. However, disorganization and deteriorated pavement have been noted as minor issues.
Beds also evoke mixed opinions. Many guests praise their comfort and the quality rest they provide, whereas some find the mattresses old, hard or uncomfortable.
Finally, the inclusion of a casino is a notable highlight for many guests, offering easy and safe access to gaming entertainment, which complements the hotel's comprehensive amenities, including a well-equipped gym and a top-rated restaurant.
Overall, Wyndham Garden Aguascalientes Hotel & Casino stands out for its prime location, quality service and wide range of amenities, making it a strong contender for both short and extended stays, despite some areas needing improvement.
