Hotel Kostelski Buk presents itself as a highly favored destination, praised for its prime location next to the serene Una River and its captivating waterfalls. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the natural attractions, including Una National Park and nearby Bihac Centar, offering splendid views and a tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful retreat. Guests commend the hotel for its picturesque surroundings, adding to its appeal as a delightful escape.
The culinary experience at Hotel Kostelski Buk garners significant positive feedback. Breakfast is remarked as delicious, varied and satisfying with a broad selection meeting diverse tastes and preferences. Dinner at the on-site restaurant is equally celebrated, offering a rich menu of local and international dishes that consistently exceed expectations, earning high marks for quality and authenticity.
Room experiences are generally positive with many guests praising the beautifully designed, clean and spacious accommodations featuring stunning waterfall or river views. The rooms are described as comfortable with the larger suites particularly appreciated for their size and tasteful decor. However, there's some variance in room quality with certain areas noted for needing modernization and better upkeep.
Cleanliness is widely acknowledged with daily room cleaning and well-maintained facilities contributing to a comfortable stay. Minor issues, such as occasional lapses in hygiene standards in specific areas, are mentioned but do not overshadow the overall positive impression.
The staff's service quality stands out for its friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness. Special recognition is given to individuals like Amela and Jasmine at the reception. Despite some isolated comments about occasional unfriendliness, the majority of interactions with hotel staff are positive, enhancing the guest experience.
While free Wi-Fi is offered, reviews point to inconsistencies in signal strength and speed, especially in the rooms. The spa facilities receive high praise for providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with amenities like the sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness center positively highlighted.
Free parking is available and generally sufficient, though it can occasionally be unclear where to park due to the lack of designated spaces. The hotel is also favored as a family-friendly destination, offering functional rooms and family-oriented amenities such as a playground on a small island in the river.
Beds at the hotel are mostly described as comfortable, contributing to a good night’s sleep, though a few guests have encountered issues with older beds and limited warmth from blankets.
For business travelers, the hotel offers practical facilities like meeting rooms and workspaces, making it suitable for short business trips despite some travel time considerations due to its location. However, accessibility for guests with disabilities could be improved, considering the small elevators and certain areas being less accommodating.
