La Basserie is an idyllic countryside retreat praised for its enchanting natural beauty and serene environment. Located atop a hill, guests are treated to breathtaking views and a peaceful setting perfect for relaxation. The charming stone house offers beautifully designed rooms featuring modern decor and exceptional comfort, with many providing private apartments-like spaces and stunning valley views. Attention to detail, such as crackling fires, enhances the cozy atmosphere.
The hospitality at La Basserie is exceptional, with hosts Olivier and Regina celebrated for their warm and attentive service. They ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for, contributing to the overall fantastic experience.
Each morning starts with a delightful breakfast, showcasing high-quality, locally sourced products. Homemade yogurts and jams, coupled with fresh fruits, are served on the terrace, offering a memorable start with panoramic views. Although some guests mention a desire for more variety beyond bread, the breakfast is largely appreciated for its abundance and flavor.
The pool is another standout feature, providing a refreshing oasis with its stunning vantage points of the valley. Whether enjoying a quiet swim or simply lounging by the pool, guests find it a perfect complement to the tranquil surroundings.
