Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Novotel Nottingham Derby is a conveniently located hotel that is ideal for those needing a break from driving or looking for a stopover during long journeys. The hotel is situated in lovely surroundings and is in a great location for easy access to Nottingham and Derby town centres, as well as being just a short drive away from East Midlands Airport. The hotel offers light and airy, well-equipped rooms that are clean and comfortable without feeling outdated. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and all of the necessary amenities, including toiletries and flat-screen TVs. The hotel's state of cleanliness is highly praised and guests appreciate the well-equipped rooms and in-room amenities like fresh towels and shower gels that are replenished daily. The staff is a highlight for many guests with efficient and polite service at reception and guests appreciate the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. The hotel offers a large car park with plenty of spaces for guests, but the surface of the car park is poor and could use some improvements. Guests rave about the comfort of the beds with many describing the mattresses as extremely comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. Despite some disappointment with the breakfast and some comments about lacking facilities/services for a four-star hotel, guests generally found their stays to be exceptional, superb, good or very good. Overall, this hotel provides good value for those looking for a comfortable, affordable stay.
