Beside Still Waters Boutique Hotel emerges as a highly favored destination due to its exceptional location, inviting ambiance, and commendable service. Nestled in a prime neighborhood, the hotel offers guests convenient access to the vibrant Umhlanga area, La Lucia Centre, and charming beaches, enhancing both work and leisure travel experiences. Visitors are also captivated by the tranquil environment, surrounded by lush dining areas and trees that contribute to the hotel's unique charm.
The breakfast experience is a standout aspect of guests' stays, with many returning for the delightful offerings in the serene gardens. The adjacent coffee shop, Neighbour Cafe, impresses with a remarkable menu, including vegan options and delectable Saturday specials. Guests particularly praise the Gatvol coffee and appreciate the beautifully presented dishes, which set a positive tone for the day.
The hotel’s rooms are noted for their cleanliness and comfort, accommodating various guest needs from families to individuals. Although the decor may seem a bit dated to some, the spaciousness and high-quality linens are well-received. Occasional suggestions for room improvements are swiftly addressed by the responsive staff, known for their outstanding hospitality. The staff, from management to reception, consistently deliver exceptional service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
While the cleanliness of the hotel frequently earns high accolades, limited Wi-Fi connectivity is noted as an area for improvement. Although some areas offer seamless access, connections can be weak or intermittent in individual rooms and downstairs. Despite this minor drawback, the hotel remains a charming and restful retreat, enriched by its strategic location, warm service, and inviting surroundings.
