Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Concorde is ideally situated by Lake Maggiore, providing picturesque lake views from numerous rooms and common areas. Its prime location offers easy access to Arona's old town, shopping streets and various dining options, making it a preferred choice for visitors eager to explore the area's attractions. Equipped with ample free parking and serving as a convenient base for regional excursions, the hotel’s strategic positioning is highly appreciated by guests.
Breakfast at Hotel Concorde is noted for its excellence, featuring a diverse and hearty buffet that caters to both sweet and savory preferences. Guests relish enjoying their morning meal with stunning lake views, adding to the overall positive dining experience. While there are occasional critiques regarding coffee availability and limited savory options, the breakfast generally receives strong praise for its variety and quality.
Dinner experiences are more mixed, yet the restaurant and terrace bar earn commendation for providing quality regional dishes against the backdrop of the beautiful lake. Despite some concerns about price and service quality during peak times, many guests still enjoy the dining ambiance and well-prepared meals.
Rooms at Hotel Concorde are highlighted for their cleanliness and comfort. Newly renovated rooms are particularly praised for their modern décor and spaciousness. However, inconsistencies in room quality mean some accommodations feel outdated and require maintenance. Guests recommend aiming for the newly refurbished rooms with lake views for the best experience.
The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards with many guests noting the tidiness of their accommodations. While some have reported lapses in upkeep, the housekeeping staff generally receives positive feedback for their effort and diligence.
The staff at Hotel Concorde contributes significantly to the positive guest experience. They are frequently described as friendly, professional and accommodating, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Multilingual abilities help staff cater well to a diverse range of guests, though occasional reports of unhelpfulness or service lapses exist, they are exceptions rather than the rule.
WiFi at Hotel Concorde is free and usually effective, though its performance can be inconsistent. Some guests have encountered difficulties with connectivity and speed, despite generally finding the service useful.
Parking facilities are a strong point for Hotel Concorde, offering free and ample parking spaces that many guests find convenient and secure. The availability of spacious and guarded parking adds to the overall positive impression.
Families find Hotel Concorde particularly appealing due to its family-friendly amenities, including spacious family rooms, cribs, strollers and a kids club. The environment supports a relaxing vacation for families, though some mention room size as a minor inconvenience.
Guest reviews about the beds are mixed with many finding them comfortable and conducive to a good night’s sleep, while others report issues with firmness and outdated mattresses. This suggests room for improvement in bed quality consistency.
Despite aspirations to a four-star rating, many guests feel that Hotel Concorde does not meet these expectations, citing outdated facilities and inadequate service areas as notable gaps. Nonetheless, the hotel remains a solid choice for business travelers, offering adequate amenities and a convenient location for corporate needs. While aspects of the hotel fall short of four-star standards, it still holds considerable appeal due to its welcoming staff, strategic location and scenic lake views.
